A non-native perennial green for the edible garden.
This lemon sorrel doesn’t bolt in sweltering summer heat and drought. Leaves get large and make a fine cooked green or an addition to salads. Recommended to eat raw in moderation due to the contents of oxalates. Cooking reduces this compound. Pfaf.org
☀ Grows in full or part sun in average to rich, well-drained soil. More tolerant of drought when grown in organic rich soil. Grows 2’ high and wide.
Size: 1 gal
